Job Summary
The Investment Research Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the investment research and management processes. Job Details
- Conduct in-depth research on potential investment opportunities across various asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternative investments) based on our investment strategies and client needs.
- Analyze financial statements, market data, industry trends, and economic indicators to assess the financial health, competitive position, and future growth prospects of potential investments.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance, evaluate risk-adjusted returns, and identify potential investment risks.
- Prepare insightful research reports and presentations that clearly communicate investment recommendations and rationale to portfolio managers and investment committees.
- Stay current on market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions.
- Participate in company meetings, industry conferences, and investor calls to gather relevant information and insights.
- Collaborate with other research analysts, portfolio managers, and traders to share information and generate new investment ideas.
- Take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in investment research.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise client-ready presentations.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, with a strong work ethic.
